Jon Lovett

American podcaster, writer, and television producer (born 1982)

Jon Lovett is an American podcaster, comedian, and journalist, born in 1982. He has had a diverse career, working as a speechwriter for prominent politicians, including President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton during her time as a United States senator and presidential candidate. Lovett's experience in politics also includes his work as a White House staffer during the Obama administration, alongside future collaborators Jon Favreau and Tommy Vietor.

In addition to his work in politics, Lovett has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He co-founded Crooked Media with Favreau and Vietor, and regularly hosts the podcasts Pod Save America and Lovett or Leave It. Lovett has also worked in television, co-creating the NBC sitcom 1600 Penn and writing and producing for the third season of HBO's The Newsroom. More recently, he appeared as a contestant on Survivor 47 in 2024, further expanding his reach into the world of entertainment.
