Philip H. Iselin was a prominent American businessman with a diverse range of interests. In the field of manufacturing, he was a key figure in the women's apparel industry, based in New York City. Beyond his work in manufacturing, Iselin was also involved in the world of sports, holding significant roles in various organizations.

Iselin's involvement in sports included his role as a shareholder and President of the New York Jets football team, as well as Chairman of Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport, New Jersey. He was part of the original Board of Directors that purchased the New York Titans in 1963, which was later renamed the Jets. Iselin went on to succeed Donald C. Lillis as President of the Jets in 1968, further solidifying his position within the organization.
