Shaul Magid

Shaul Magid is a prominent American rabbi and theologian, specializing in the field of Judaism. His academic career has spanned several esteemed institutions, including the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, where he served as a professor of Jewish philosophy from 1996 to 2004. During his tenure, he chaired the Department of Jewish Philosophy from 2000 to 2004, demonstrating his expertise and leadership in the subject.

Magid has continued to hold distinguished positions in the academic world. From 2004 to 2018, he was a professor of religious studies and held the Jay and Jeannie Schottenstein Chair of Jewish Studies in Modern Judaism at Indiana University.
