Yisroel Mantel

Yisroel Mantel is a prominent American Orthodox rabbi of the 21st century. His rabbinical career has been marked by significant appointments, including his role as associate rabbi of Khal Adath Jeshurun in Manhattan, New York, which he held from 2006. He later advanced to the position of senior rabbi at the same institution, a role he assumed in 2018.

In addition to his service at Khal Adath Jeshurun, Rabbi Mantel has expanded his influence to international communities. Notably, he was elected as the rabbi of the Jewish community in Gateshead, England, in 2025, and his inauguration took place on June 25, 2026. Prior to his departure from Khal Adath Jeshurun, the community had already begun the process of transition, with Rav Liron Rogovsky being elected as his successor in May 2026.
