Jenny Slate

Jenny Slate is a multifaceted American entertainer, born in 1982, who has established herself as an actress, comedian, and writer in the film industry. Her early career involved acting and stand-up comedy on television, which eventually led to her creation of live variety shows in New York City. Slate's collaborative work with Dean Fleischer Camp, her husband from 2012 to 2016, resulted in the development of the children's series Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, a project that spanned from 2010 to 2014 and included both short films and books.

Slate's breakthrough in the entertainment industry came in 2009 when she joined the cast of Saturday Night Live for its 35th season. She then went on to secure roles in several popular sitcoms, including Bob's Burgers, a show she has been a part of since 2012, as well as Parks and Recreation, House of Lies, and Kroll Show, all of which she contributed to between 2013 and 2015. In addition to her work in television, Slate has also appeared in film, with a notable supporting role in the upcoming movie It Ends with Us, scheduled for release in 2024.
